Hemicellulose

Phát âm

Phiên âm: /ˌhɛmɪˈsɛljʊˌləʊz/

Từ loại: Noun

Nghĩa tiếng Việt:
Hemicellulose

Nghĩa tiếng Anh:
Like cellulose, hemicellulose is a carbohydrate that exists in almost all plant cell walls along with cellulose. Whereas cellulose is composed only of glucose, hemicellulose is composed of many other sugars (e.g., glucose, xylose, mannose, galactose, arabinose, etc.) in chains of 500 to 3,000 sugar units. Hemicellulose is a branched polymer. In contrast, cellulose is not ranched. As hemicellulose content increases in animal feed, the voluntary feed intake typically decreases.
